Product Description

The Accuratus Cup Type Water Current Meter is used for determining accurate velocities of flowing water in open channels, streams, Canals and Rivers. It has been manufactured to meet the requirements of I.S.3910. Measuring Velocity Range from 0.3 m/sec. to 1 m/sec.

The Water Current Meter (Cup Type) consists of a six cup assembly, having six cup mounted on a vertical shaft. This shaft is held vertical in a yoke frame on two pivot points. This yoke frame while holding the moving assembly protects its cups from damage from the floating bodies in flowing water also.

One signal is generated from each revolution of the Bucket Wheel by means of a Permanent Magnet inside the Magnetic Chamber. These signals can be recorded by the external Sensor.
