Product Description

Gramophone needle, also known as a stylus, is a slender, cylindrical and pointed device used to play music on a gramophone or phonograph. The needle is attached to the end of the pin and is responsible for reading the grooves on the vinyl record and translating the vibrations into sound. The pin is then inserted into the gramophone's tonearm and held in place by a small clip. When the record is played, the gramophone needle moves along the grooves, causing it to vibrate and produce sound, which is then amplified and played through the gramophone's speakers.
